The project aims to provide all tourism and entertainment services in an advanced manner to raise the level of services for foreign tourists and residents for recreation through the project that provides these services under an architectural umbrella adopted by the modern world. Iraq is rich in many natural resources such as oil, gold, soil and rivers, in addition to a cultural heritage that extends back to prehistoric times, which contributed to providing an appropriate tourist climate that needs attention and development to rise effectively. Therefore, this project seeks to develop by exploiting one of the most prominent tourist areas in the city of Basra.

– The project was chosen based on choosing the site first because of its historical, geographical and touristic value, studying and analyzing all the problems in it, and referring to the reasons for the emergence of these problems and developing solutions to them.
– The Basra municipality needs such projects to be included in the city’s development plans.
– The site of Sinbad Island is considered one of the most important and famous tourist archaeological areas in Basra in general, which reflects Basra’s marine tourism heritage, which is now generally abandoned. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to such features.
– Accommodating the expected increase in tourists and increasing labour opportunities.
– It is considered a means of exchanging internal and external cultures, which raises awareness and sophistication.
– Attracting foreign tourists and citizens and encouraging domestic tourism to enjoy the beauty of nature in the region.
