Food security, as defined by the United Nations’ Committee on World Food Security, means that all people, always, have physical, social, and economic access to sufficient, safe, and nutritious food that meets their food preferences and dietary needs for an active and healthy life.

Over time, the genetic development of crops has been done spontaneously and does not have any major impact on the level of small communities and villages, but with the progress of technology and the enlargement of societies and the restriction of the farming profession on a small group of individuals, genetic development on crops and seeds became necessary, specifically with the emergence of many new viruses.

This project aims to Enrich and develop the genetic content of grains in Jordan and enhance the role of culture and society in this operation.

As the main goals of the project are:

  • Developing community agricultural skills Achieving sustainable internal food security in Jordan.
  • Training women and children to achieve scientific and economic revenues.
  • Keeping up with and maintaining the global development of Argo-Genes.
  • Changing the stereotype of the farming profession.

Following multi keywords while creating the spaces:

  • A fragmented model with a combined program.
  • Using light as an instrument through the geometric structure.
  • Applying a grid that is based on project constants.
  • Circulation dividing and connecting process.

Constants that create the underlying grid dimensions:

  • Structure base – 6 m base model for a 12 and 6 m span.
  • Esthetic (Golden ratio) 12/7.5 equals 1.6
  • Height restriction of 20 m that has the same percentage of 1.6 to the width of 12 m

Project masse will be applied to this grid model and the middle half of it, is 3.75 and 6 m, this grid model will eventually create spaces that have eventually the same percentage base in areas and an easy way for circulation interaction with the spaces.

The main interlocking spaces are the spaces that are mainly for the community that will be a main gathering area between the visitors, academic researchers, and the community participants.
