Project Description

The Aqaba Blue Plane stands out as a visionary project that addresses one of the most urgent global challenges: marine conservation. Positioned at the northern tip of the Red Sea, one of the planet’s most biodiverse and climate-resilient marine ecosystems, the project offers a timely and critical response to growing threats such as pollution, habitat loss, and climate change.
Beyond standard educational or research institutions, this project establishes a comprehensive platform where science, community, and sustainability meet. It not only promotes advanced marine research, but also engages the public with immersive exhibits, interactive storytelling, and a recycling facility that turns awareness into action. By combining research, teaching, and environmental responsibility, the center enables visitors, researchers, and volunteers to become active marine guardians.
Architecturally, the project displays innovation by merging smoothly into the coastal nature, utilizing sustainable solutions, and providing a path from discovery to action. Its design focuses on adaptability, community interaction, and long-term impact.
Acknowledging this project entails recognizing an example that connects local and worldwide conservation efforts, establishing Aqaba as a regional leader, and motivating a new generation to cherish and conserve our marine resources.
